The band formed in 2001, keg vultures' debut CD, "beer canon",
appeared in March 2003 on Propeller Records

Copies of a limited edition promotional CD-r E.P., titled "heave",
were given away at a gig in March of 2004.

"heave" contains some rare tracks unavailable anywhere else.

The 2nd full length CD,
bendy straw brain massage and spiritual dry cleaning
was released in October of 2004 (on Propeller Records).

The guys in keg vultures have played in some other Austin, Texas bands, including
Windowpanes, Guardez Lou, Sibling Rivals, Drug Zombies, Kathy McCarty &
Daniel Johnston, Hoyt Clagwell, Hundredth Monkey, Fried Pipers, Bottom
Feeders, Widescreen Radio, Off!, Custard Pie, Electric Tools, James Oliver,
The Original Jacks, Organdy Snood, and Acid Cabbies.

Keg Vultures are all young, healthy, athletic, intelligent, handsome,
and concerned about important social issues.

They all live together in a tree house on an undisclosed ranch
just south of Austin, caring for abused and exploited
chickens, peacocks, and giraffes.
